International Student Program

Whether this is your first journey to the United States or you have visited the U.S. previously, we hope that Oxford will soon feel like your second home.

The foundation of Oxford College’s student community is its interactive cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity. International students enrich Oxford’s community and academic life. The International Student Programs (ISP) office is available to assist with academic, cultural and personal adjustment to college for international students.

Additionally, we provide guidance and advisement regarding immigration regulations for F-1 students, and organize and implement the International Student Welcome Program.

Our Mission

The ISP office supports Oxford College’s central educational mission by providing its international student community with immigration advising, student programs and services, information, and campus advocacy in a highly professional, ethical, and compassionate manner.

The ISP offers programs and services that foster international students’ positive adjustment to the U.S. and engagement in the Oxford campus community and that support the development of intercultural skills of both international and domestic students.

The ISP issues Forms I-20 to accepted students who will study at Oxford as an F-1 international student, provides immigration information for F-1 students through individual advising and group information sessions, and ensures the College’s compliance with the U.S. federal government’s Student & Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
