Oxford Dining
In partnership with our dining provider, Bon Appétit, we aim to provide high-quality food and healthy dining options. Oxford Dining prioritizes your well-being by preparing well-balanced menus with fresh, authentic, and locally sourced ingredients. We take into account the availability of regional and seasonal products, including fruits and vegetables from the organic farm located on Oxford's campus. Our menus are carefully crafted to ensure that you enjoy healthy and delicious meals every time you dine with us. We offer made-without-gluten, vegan, and vegetarian options at each meal and provide Halal meats whenever possible.
- All Oxford Dining facilities are cashless, so please plan accordingly.
- Regardless of location, all Oxford Dining menus are peanut, tree nut, and shellfish-free.

Residential students at Oxford College are required to select an Oxford dining plan. We want our students to focus on the college experience and not on where their next meal will come from. Studies have shown that when students go hungry, they lose their ability to focus in class, retain knowledge from studying, complete assignments effectively, or perform well during tests. The impact of food insecurity on health and academic performance is long-lasting, affecting students during their college years, as well as after graduation.
- There are four Oxford dining plans offered (see chart below), however, all first-year students will be assigned Oxford Plan A.
- All prices and criteria are on a per-semester basis.
- Dining Plans are accessed via your EmoryCard ID. Participants must present their EmoryCard to gain entry into the Oxford dining hall. Students attempting to enter the dining hall without swiping their EmoryCard and registering a meal swipe will be charged with misconduct and referred to the chief conduct officer for disciplinary action.
- Dining Plans provide access to the Oxford Dining Hall during regular hours of operation or for a meal exchange when offered at other locations.
- A Meal Exchange is a specified menu combination that can be obtained from a retail dining location, or at a special event, using a residential meal plan meal swipe
- Oxford meal exchange options are available at Oxpresso Café located in the Library and at the Oxford Family Kitchen located in the Oxford Student Center at specified hours during the day
- Meal swipes may only be used for the menu combinations specified at each location. You may only use one (1) meal swipe at a time and must wait one (1) hour between swipes at the same location.
- Dooley Dollars may be required for admission to special dining events offered after-hours or for dining programs hosted outside of the dining hall (i.e. 'Que on the Quad, Friday Night Bites, etc.)
- Residential Dining Meal Plans are tax-exempt. As such, they are non-transferable and for the plan holder ONLY. Any attempt to fraudulently use the meal membership of another student will result in disciplinary action against any, and all, parties involved.
- For all plans, the Dining Plan week begins on Friday at 12:00:00 am and runs through Thursday at 11:59:59 pm.
- The dining plan does not cover holidays or breaks when Residence Halls are closed. If dining is offered during these breaks, Dooley Dollars may be required.
- All Meal Plan charges are billed to the student’s OPUS account each semester.
- Meal plan costs for the Fall semester are submitted to Student Financial Services in August; Spring Semester meal plan costs are submitted in December.
- The Meal Plan contract remains in effect for the entire academic year.
- Oxford College and Emory University reserve the right to change the terms of this agreement at any time without notice.
- First-year students are required to select Oxford Plan A.
- Second-year students may choose from Oxford Plans A, B, or C.
- Oxford Plan D is reserved for commuter students only
- Approved commuter students living off-campus may elect any one of the four plans offered.
Regardless of which plan you choose you have the option to add Dooley Dollars at any time by simply logging in to the MyHousing platform. Dooley Dollars are added in increments of $25.
Dooley Dollars are not available without a meal plan.
Dooley Dollars roll over from Fall to Spring, but not to the next academic year.
