Designing Your Summer Experience

Are you thinking about how you might design a meaning-full summer experience? NOW is the time to think about what could be possible, to consider your goals, to start your search, and to prepare your professional documents.

Before you launch too far into summer planning, it can sometimes be helpful to conduct a self-assessment so that you have an efficient and well-informed plan when it's time to take action. The career counselors in the Counseling and Career Services office are available to guide you through that process. For targeted support in your planning, we invite you to book an appointment by calling 770-784–8394.

If you prefer to get started on your own, consider leveraging the information available to you via Handshake, Emory CareerShift, and Emory Connects. These are just a few of the many excellent resources accessible to you as a student.

Make an appointment with a career counselor for resources curated to your interests, for an orientation to any of these platforms, or for assistance preparing application materials.

Remember, you have a lot of opportunities for designing a meaningful summer!
