Counseling Services

There are different resources to consider for your mental health needs this year.

Center for Counseling and Wellbeing:  Meeting with an Oxford CCW counselor on campus

To schedule an appointment with one of our on-campus counselors, simply call 770-784-8394 or stop by to make an appointment. Our licensed mental health providers offer confidential mental health services on a range of student development and mental health concerns, attending to and respecting the many culturally informed perspectives and experiences reflected in our diverse student body.  These services are already paid for through your tuition and fees and do not access your health insurance.

TimelyCare:  Additional options with a variety of online providers
In addition to our office, you have access to TimelyCare tele-mental-health services.  In addition to business hours, like our on-campus counselors, TimelyCare has a diverse array of providers to choose from, also available on weekends and evenings, as well as during semester breaks.  They are available at no additional cost when you enroll using your Emory email.  Their services
include
  • Scheduled Counseling for ongoing scheduled counseling sessions with a licensed mental health professionals
  • TalkNow (available 24/7) for students just needing some support more immediately and want someone to talk through a difficult moment (not the same counselor each time you call).

Emory ThrivingCampus

This resource helps you identify off-campus providers in the ATL area in the private practice sector, many of which accept the Emory Student Health Insurance and provide telehealth services you can access from the Oxford campus or wherever you are in Georgia!
