Resumes and Cover Letters

If you're applying for summer jobs, research programs, or internships, you'll likely need to submit a resume and cover letter. On occasion you may also be asked to supply a personal statement, a statement of purpose, an essay or some other writing sample. The resources below may be helpful when trying to put your best foot forward in writing.

Once you've written your professional document(s), you can have those reviewed and receive constructive feedback.   First, through our colleagues on the ATL campus Career Services, Oxford students can now access Career Center Peer Advisors through weekly drop-in hours, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12p-4p EST.

Peer advisors are students who have been selected and trained by the Career Center in Atlanta to offer career support services to their peers.

Peer advisors can help with:

  • Resume development and review
  • Cover letter development and review
  • Job and internship searches
  • Using Handshake and other online resources

To use this service:
